Profile of Leadership: Ron & Dianna Gilbert, Field Strategy Coordinator

Ron and Dianna were both born in the United States and have served as Nazarene missionaries since 1984. Ron graduated from Southern Nazarene University with a Masters of Ministry in 1998. He also attended Nazarene Bible College and SNU for degree completion work. Dianna attended SNU in 1971–72 but most recently continued her education through the Georgia School of Ministry.
Prior to this appointment, the Gilberts served as the Senior Pastor at South Side Church of the Nazarene in Muncie, Indiana. They have also served as Senior Pastor of Nazarene churches in Georgia, Texas, Oklahoma, and Florida. Dianna worked in banking as a Senior Customer Service Representative.
The Gilberts have served two previous terms as missionaries for the Church of the Nazarene in South Africa and Ghana, West Africa. In South Africa they were instrumental in starting the Kwa-Zulu North District. They were pioneer missionaries to Ghana serving as the District Superintendent, Mission Director and, as Ron puts it, “anything else that needed to be done.”
Ron and Dianna make their home in Büsingen, Switzerland. They have two grown children: Dana, who has three children, lives in Arizona, and Michael, who has one child, lives in Georgia.
Profile of Leadership: Hermann & Brigitte Gschwandtner, South Asia NCM and JESUS Film Coordinator

Hermann and Brigitte were both born in Germany and have served as Nazarene missionaries since 1990. Hermann studied theology at the universities of Tübingen, Erlangen and Edinburgh and is the author of more than ten books and numerous articles. Brigitte graduated from Brake Bible School in Germany and has translated theological books and published several Christian novels.
The Gschwandtners have been involved in missions and pastoral ministry for over 30 years. They served as Senior Pastor of the Frankfurt First and Gelnhausen Nazarene churches in Germany. In 1989 they were called to open up the work for the Church of the Nazarene in Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union, where Hermann's primary responsibility was to prepare the way for Nazarene ministry and missionaries. Since 1994 they have concentrated on Nazarene Compassionate Ministries, the JESUS Film ministry, and church planting in South Asia, where they were instrumental in opening several nations for the Church and continue to support and mentor the indigenous leaders in these countries.
Hermann and Brigitte make their home in Gelnhausen, Germany. They have three grown children: Christina lives in Pennsylvania, Johannes, who has three children, lives in Oklahoma, and Dorli lives in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
